Pricing Models
LostChurn offers two pricing models on paid plans. You choose your model when you upgrade and can switch between them once per billing cycle.
Fixed Rate
Pay a flat monthly fee regardless of how much revenue LostChurn recovers. Save 20% with annual billing. This model is best for businesses with predictable payment failure volumes and high average transaction values.

Performance Pricing
Pay a small base fee plus a percentage of the revenue LostChurn successfully recovers. This model is best for businesses that want to minimize upfront costs and align LostChurn's incentives with their own. With performance pricing, you can start at $0 and only pay when we recover money for you.

Performance pricing is calculated on net recovered revenue only. If a payment is recovered and later refunded or disputed, the recovery fee is credited back to your account.
No trial needed with performance pricing. Since Engine performance pricing has a $0 base fee and you only pay when we recover revenue, there is no financial risk to getting started immediately.

14-Day Free Trial
All plans include a 14-day free trial with full access to all features at that tier. During the trial:
- No credit card required on the Engine tier
- All recovery attempts, campaigns, and analytics are fully functional
- Recovered revenue during the trial is yours to keep -- no recovery fees are charged
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time
At the end of the trial, you can choose to subscribe or your account automatically downgrades. No data is lost during the transition -- recovery history and analytics are preserved according to your plan's retention limits.
Trial Terms
To ensure fair use and prevent abuse, the following trial terms apply:
- Each business receives one 14-day free trial per tier
- Stripe account fingerprinting is used to prevent re-trials with the same payment infrastructure
- Active recovery stops when the trial expires -- in-flight retries complete but no new recovery attempts are initiated
- Upgrading to a paid plan during the trial applies any remaining trial days as a credit
- Performance pricing alternative: If you prefer to skip the trial entirely, choose performance pricing to start at $0 with no time limit -- you only pay when LostChurn recovers revenue for you
Engine
The Engine plan is designed for businesses with up to $50K MRR that need reliable failed payment recovery. It includes:

Upgrading Your Plan
You can upgrade your plan at any time from the dashboard. The prorated difference is applied to your current billing cycle so you only pay for the remaining days at the higher tier.
How to Upgrade
- Navigate to Settings > Billing > Plan
- Click Change Plan
- Select the tier you want to upgrade to
- A Stripe Checkout session opens with the prorated amount
- Complete payment to activate the new plan immediately
After upgrading, your new plan limits take effect immediately. The edge cache is invalidated so all in-flight webhooks see the updated limits within seconds.
Downgrading
You can also downgrade to a lower tier. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. During the remainder of the cycle, you retain access to all features of your current plan. If your current usage exceeds the lower tier's limits at the time of transition, existing in-progress recoveries continue but new failed payments are queued until usage falls within the new limits.
